We met with Dan and Misty on a Wednesday evening to visit their property for the first time and to conduct a free home selling consultation. We asked how soon they wanted to go on the market and Misty jokingly said “today if possible”.

Excited for the challenge, Cindy said “we can have you on the market Friday night and will hold open houses this Saturday and Sunday” (less than 48 hours later). Misty and Dan couldn’t believe we were serious about getting it on the market for them that quickly. Here’s how things played out:

Day 1 - Met with Dan and Misty for initial selling consultation. They had just finished repainting the interior of the home and were having new carpets installed today.

Day 2 - Home cleaned while we listed it in the MLS as Coming Soon. They only had a few items remaining in the property since they had already moved, which allowed for such a quick turnaround.

Day 3 - Photos taken, published, and used to market the property and upcoming open houses on hundreds of websites, the MLS, and social media.

Day 4 - Open House from 2-4pm, plus additional agent showings before and after. Offers start coming in.

Day 5 - With multiple offers in hand, all at or above list price, Dan and Misty accepted an offer and cancelled the second open house.
